Purpose

I thought about painting this piece for a long while and kept going back and forth as I was worried about the end result. I had a vision of a man in a state of closeness to God, in prostration surrounded by undisturbed nature. I wanted to emphasize the spiritual state it is to be in sujood to the Greatest, The King of all Kings, The Supreme, The Most High, The Most Merciful, Allah swt alone with His beautiful creation of trees and lush earth as witnesses.
